d1-player
It stores your music files and runs Roon core or a UPNP media-server. It is based on a network output to a RoonReady device or a UPNP streamer.
This is the architecture I found to give the best sound.
d1-streamer
It replaces the d1-server and it includes the GIGAFILTER USB cable/filter.
It focusses on streaming functions: RoonReady , UPNP/DLNA, Airplay and soon NAA.
Note that Roon can accept your Qobuz account now.
DAC
The d1-twelve-mk2 or d1-direct will be used in Munich, both with a direct output from the R2R ladders, without output stage, for the most transparent sound.
d1-driver
It replaces your preamplifier but still relying on the Totaldac DAC volume control, I got the best sound this way.
